Buenos Aires, July 4 (UNI) Argentina has appointed economist Silvina Batakis as its new economy minister after Martin Guzman, the architect of a debt restructuring deal with the IMF, suddenly tendered his resignation, Khaleej Times reported on Monday.\
Argentine President Alberto Fernandez has named Batakis, 53, “a renowned economist” who served as economy minister for the province of Buenos Aires from 2011 to 2015, according to a statement from the presidential palace.
